Obituary of Erma Lousetta Hall

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Erma Hall, passed away on December 25, 2025.

Erma dedicated her life to her family and to her work as a head cook and a Personal Support Worker, serving others with care, compassion, and commitment. She leaves behind her seven children (7) , along with twenty four (24) grandchildren and sixteen (16) great-grandchildren who were the joy of her life. Erma also leaves behind two sisters, one brother, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Erma was known for her infectious laughter, her jokes, and her deep love for cooking. She was truly a people person—deeply loved by friends, family, and even strangers. Erma could often be found in meaningful conversations with people she had just met, as her warmth and presence drew others to her. Her love for people knew no bounds; she opened her heart and home to nurture other people’s children. 

A woman of strong faith, Erma believed deeply in the Word of God. There was never a moment when she did not speak about God’s love, goodness, and grace. She enjoyed singing and was often found worshipping. She also loved poetry and was known for writing notes on any piece of paper she could find—even tissue paper.

Erma’s presence will be deeply missed. While our hearts grieve, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and resting with God. She will forever remain in our hearts.
