Obituary of Joy Allison Breary
Joy Allison Breary (nee Blake)
Sunrise - December 17, 1953 - Sunset – December 19, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister, and aunt, Joy Allison Breary, who passed away peacefully at her home on December 19, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born in Paradise, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, Joy was known for her strength, sharp wit, and straightforward spirit. Beneath her strong spirit was a deeply loving heart. She cared fiercely for her family and friends and was always there with guidance and comfort, bringing laughter and togetherness wherever she went.
Joy was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Milton Breary, her children Ian, Carolette, Karen, Colin, Damion, David, Samantha, and Brian; and her large extended family who will miss her dearly.
A woman of faith and perseverance, Joy’s presence will be deeply missed. While our hearts grieve, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace and resting with God. She will forever remain in our hearts.
John 16:22 (NIV)— “So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”
