Obituary of Joyce Walker

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of the matriarch to the Walker family, Joyce Walker. 

Born November 27th 1945 Joyce was the oldest sibling to many brothers and sisters. She was a proud mother of 3 boys, 15 grandchildren and 11 great grand children.

She was an entrepreneur, to say the least. She baked, she cleaned and was a seamstress for many years just to name a few. She was a ray of sunshine, always positive, with a giving heart embodying qualities of strength; a true virtuous woman! 

Joyce was an active member in her community, well known to her neighbours, and a proud church member to Holy Word Fellowship Ministries church of God in Christ. 

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and psw’s for their care over the years. Also, to friends and family for their love during such a difficult time. She will never be forgotten and we know she is now resting with The Lord.
