Obituary of Sherone Theresa McCarthy

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sherone Teresa McCarthy, who went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2025, at 6:30 AM.

Sherone will be lovingly remembered by her father, her sisters, her aunties, her niece, her husband, her stepchildren, and the rest of her beloved family. She loved her family deeply and gave them everything she had. Sherone carried a shy, sweet smile—one she would often try to hide even as it brightened any room she entered. Her contagious laughter could lift your spirit in an instant, a true blessing to all who knew her.

She also shared a special bond with Sister Julia (“Sista”) and her niece Allexsia—a relationship marked by deep love, trust, and unbreakable connection.

Sherone was a warrior. She fought cancer bravely and even overcame it once. Through every challenge, she held tightly to her faith. She loved the Lord deeply and served Him faithfully until the very end.

Her presence brought warmth, joy, and that special Jamaican spirit that made everyone feel welcomed and loved.
