Obituary of Claris Morris

Evangelist Claris Cinta Morris went home to be with the Lord peacefully on November 7, 2025. She was born to Vernal Morris and Charlotte Harvey on June 26, 1932, and was the third child of her parents, having two brothers who predeceased her. She is survived by three daughters — Veronica Bisnaught, Audrey Smith, and Paulette Reid — and two sons in-law, Eric and Edwin. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren:Shavarne, Shari, Shana, Cheyanne, Crystal, Divante, and Giovanni; and seven great-grandchildren: Sidney, Olivia, Ariah, Kyla, Leveiah, Naomi, and Micaiah.

Claris submitted her life to the Lord in 1960, at the age of 28. She was driven by purpose and by her faith in God.Claris was passionate about sharing the love of her Lord with others. With her strong faith, she led prayer meetings, sang in choirs, led praise and worship, and preached several sermons. She was an encourager, a lover of people, and an inspiration to all who came into contact with her, both young and old. Claris passed in the arms of her dear “Daddy,” as she would always call Him. Her physical life on earth is over, but this is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. 

Jesus said in John 11:25–26 (NKJV):

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in

Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in

Me shall never die. Do you believe this?’”
