Obituary of Robert Alvin Brown

Robert Alvin Brown was born on December 27, 1974 in Toronto, Ontario, and died peacefully on November 4, 2025, at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket, Ontario, surrounded by family. Robert spent his formative years in Woodbridge, Ontario, traveled extensively, lived abroad, and built a life and family in Guangzhou, China.

He is deeply missed by his wife Qian Yang (Amy) and their two children, Yang Song en (Yang Yang/Aaron) and Yang Yang en (Susie). He is lovingly remembered by his father, Robert (Keith), Sister Nicole (Andrea), and brothers, Glendon and Wendell.

Robert is predeceased by his mother, Susan, whose death he mourned two months prior to his own.

Robert lived his life with an open heart, formed deep connections, and loved generously.

To friends, he was a brother.

Robert will be remembered as a husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. It is hard to imagine our lives without him. We are deeply saddened by his passing and will hold him in our hearts always.
