Obituary of Ruby May Stewart

On October 26,2025 Heaven welcomed a woman of strength. Born on March 26,1957, in Spanish town Jamaica to Roseanne and Edly   Stewart. Ruby was a “non-nonsense” woman in the most loving way, one who spoke the truth whether you liked it or not. She expected nothing but the

best and believed you were capable of doing so.

Ruby was the devoted wife to Clifton for more than 25yrs and a loving mother to Natalie, Tyrone,and Onika. 

She was a proud grandmother of nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren, as well as a beloved “grandmother” to many children from McCrimmon Middle School, whose lives she touched with her warmth and care.

Ruby was a true powerhouse—a woman of unwavering faith, a prayer warrior, and a beacon of light to all who knew her. Her heart was made of gold, and her kindness, compassion, and joyful spirit were gifts that uplifted everyone she encountered.

While her passing leaves a deep void in our hearts, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and her earthly struggles have come to an end. Her legacy of love, strength, and perseverance will continue to live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.

Ruby’s life was a reflection of God’s grace and goodness. She reminded us daily that love is the greatest gift we can give and receive.

“God gave us a little piece of Heaven on Earth.”

Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
