Obituary of Cynthia Patricia Anderson

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Cynthia Anderson (maiden name: Thomas). Who passed away surrounded by her family in Toronto on the morning of Saturday September 27, 2025 at age 91. 

Cynthia was born on Sunday April 08, 1934 in Skibo, Portland, Jamaica to parents Mavise Stewart and Ballentine Thomas. She was one of many children and spent most of her early days caring for her younger siblings. In October of 1990 she migrated to Toronto, Canada and remained a worker of the healthcare industry, caring for the elderly until her retirement. 

She will be significantly missed by her surviving children: Anthony (Tony), Hillory (Pansie), Marcia (Lavern), Shelly-Ann, Raymond (Bobby), Philbert, and Otis. Surviving siblings: Mable, Veronica, Hopeton, Dorothy, and Joy. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, large extended family, and a host of lifelong friends all of whom she has left a lasting impact upon.
