Obituary of Susan Elizabeth Brown

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Elizabeth (Betty) Brown, of Woodbridge, Ontario, who died on Friday, September 29, 2025 at the age of 77. 

Born on March 23, 1948 in Medina District, Manchester, Jamaica, Susan was the child of Walter and Linda Box. She was known for her candour, second-to-none work ethic, and her love of home. 

Susan provided loyal service and compassionate care to patients at Extendicare and Bayshore for many years until her retirement. She maintained a wide circle of friends and treasured these relationships, some dating as far back as infant school. She had a passion for cooking and baking and loved to feed people. She loved flowers and took great pleasure in tending to both her flower and vegetable gardens.  She enjoyed travelling to Jamaica and looked forward to time spent there.

Susan is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert (Keith) Brown; sons Glendon and Robert Jr. and step-children Wendell and Nicole and their families; grandchildren, Nikita, Yang Song en (Yang Yang), Yang Yang en (Susie), Gabrielle and Adrienne; and great grandchildren, Ayden and Ava. Susan is predeceased by her parents and brother, Derick, and remembered by  numerous relatives and friends. 

Susan was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
