With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Romario “Mario” Chadrick Millwood, who departed this life on July 28, 2025, at the age of 24. Romario courageously battled Cardiomyopathy, undergoing two heart surgeries and a heart transplant in August 2023. His resilience and unwavering spirit throughout his journey were a true inspiration to all who knew and loved him.

Romario was a beacon of joy, known for his radiant smile, infectious laugh, and playful sense of humor that never faded—even during his most difficult moments. His warmth and positivity touched the lives of many, from his close-knit family to his cherished friends and co-workers at Dave & Buster’s.

He shared a deep and enduring love with his girlfriend, Shardee Bailey, whose steadfast support was a constant source of strength throughout his health battles.

Romario is survived by his devoted mother, Simone Baker; his sister, Jonae Johnson; his father, Omar Millwood; his stepmother, Sheridan Millwood; and his brothers, J’lani Williams, Malichai Blake, and Omari Millwood. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family and all who were blessed to know him.

Romario’s memory will live on in our hearts forever.
