Right now only God and Genelle knows how much she meant to me. She was apart of my sisterhood. G was one of my dearest adult friends. Everytime we came off the phone we always said I love you. Because we made it a thing to always tell each other. We grew up together College was the beginning of Genelle and Bee but definetely not the end. We vacationed together. We counselled each other. You were Nyla's Godmother now Guardian Angel. We shared birthdays, graduations, engagements, weddings and parties. I will definitely hold on to all the memories. The highs and lows. Genelle I have no doubts where you are now the grass is greener. I love you. Your ninja. Until we meet again. The baddest duo that ever lived ❤️

My dear friend G. You brought so much brightness and energy into my life. You were always there for me and you accepted me for who I was even with all of my flaws. You were such a kind and caring person and it was an honor for me to get to experience the many memories that we had together. You taught me so much and you will be missed. My deepest condolences go out to the entire family but God has a new angel who loves rainbows so when I see one I will know that your watching over us.

My deepest condolences to Genelle's family and friends.
I knew Genelle through her work at Just for Today. I always found her to be compassionate toward my clients and very helpful. She had a great attitude. I am shocked and saddened at her passing, especially at such a young age. May memories of her be a blessing to those saddened by this tragic event.

I will always remember Genelle for making sure her hair is on point and presentable...that's my earliest memories of her when I was living in the building in Malvern ....1095 .... lol always a treat to see her and she always made it a point to greet you with such joy and acceptance...loved that about her...those were my fond experiences......

If we all have a gift to share, Genelle’s gift was friendship. She had mastered how to show up in her relationships in a way that was authentic to her and respectful to others. She matched your energy. If I was excited, she was “lit up like a Christmas tree”. We had a lot of fun together and made many beautiful memories that I will cherish.
G began as my colleague but became a very dear friend who was an important person to me in every faucet of my life. My family and I will miss her, and we will try to honour her through the childlike activities that she made feel like magic. Forever loverrrrrrrr

G was truly a G—Genuine in every sense of the word. She wore her heart on her sleeve and never missed a chance to let the people she loved know exactly how she felt—whether you were ready for it or not. She was thoughtful, creative, and unapologetically honest, and I adored that about her.
If G thought of you, you’d get a call or some funny voice note. And even if you weren’t on speaking terms, the love was still there, quietly rooting for you from a distance.
She had a way of making you laugh, reflect, and feel seen all in one conversation. I’m going to love her forever and miss her always. Heaven definitely just got a whole lot more entertaining.
My sincere condolences to her daughter Nay who she loved with every ounce of her being and her family!
