With deep sadness and heavy hearts, the Dixon family announces the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend Patrick Oliver Dixon, affectionately known to many as “Fadda Boots.” He departed this life on July 18, 2025.  Born on January 17, 1945, in Buff Bay, Portland, Jamaica, Patrick was a man of wisdom, knowledge, strength, humour, and deep-rooted love for his family and community. He lived a life full of resilience, generosity, and purpose . Always ready with a story, a smile, and words of encouragement.

Patrick leaves behind a legacy of love and unity. He is survived by his 4 children Sandra, Aletha, Simone and Andrae, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends who were blessed by his presence. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Oliver was a man of principle and faith a provider, a protector, and a pillar of strength. Whether in good times or trials, he remained steady and full of grace. His impact on the lives of those around him will never be forgotten.  Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice in knowing he is at peace, resting in the arms of the Lord.
