It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Delores Albertha Crooks, who departed this life peacefully at home on Sunday, July 20th, 2025, at the remarkable age of 95.

Delores was the cherished mother of 11 children, a proud grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother—the beloved matriarch of four generations. Her life was a testament to love, faith, and family.

In 1975, she migrated from Kingston, Jamaica to Toronto, Canada, where she was reunited with her late husband Greville Crooks. A devout Christian, Delores worshipped faithfully for many years at Abiezer Pentecostal Church, building a spiritual legacy that remains in the hearts of those who knew her.

She had a deep love for her family and shared countless joyful, meaningful moments with them. An avid traveler, Delores embraced life fully but always found her greatest purpose in nurturing the bonds of family and faith.

Her warmth, guidance, and unwavering love will be profoundly missed. Yet, the beautiful memories she gave us and the love she poured into our lives will live on for generations to come.
