My sincere condolence to Noel’s niece Julie Lewis-Brewster, and the rest of the family. Noel and I worked at the then Barbados Savings Bank while in Barbados. I met Noel through a mutual friend, and it wasn’t long before he formed a special bond with my mum. He fell in love with her warmth and spirit, and made it a point to look her up whenever he visited Barbados. His visits were always pleasant and filled with kindness. I found Noel to be a truly caring and respectable gentleman — qualities that are rare and precious in today’s world. Heartfelt condolences go out to his family from my family and I. Our heartfelt condolences to Noel’s entire family. It is so difficult to find words to adequately express my feelings on his death. Sincere condolences to the family of Noel . He will be missed. Although I have not actually seen Noel for some time, I have lasting memories of him and consider him a good human being. One memory that is etched in my memory is from a cricket game in 1977. Dovercourt vs Toronto Police Cricket Team. Dovercourt needed 6 runs to win. The score was 92 for 9 as the Police team had scored 97. Noel was at the wicket facing our off spin bowler Bissoon. The third ball of the over beat Noel and took his stumps. Dovercourt loss the game. But Noel would remind anyone that would listen the he "should have hit that ball to the boundary". We have had a lot of fun with that memory over the years. May he rest in peace and rise in glory. Love and blessing to the Lewis family at this time of grieving.
