Obituary of Ethlin Depass

It is with deep sadness but grateful hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Lady Depass, age 93, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. In Toronto, Canada. 

Born on November 23, 1931 in Trout Hall, Clarendon Jamaica, Ethlin Depass was a woman of quiet strength and unwavering christian faith. She was a lifelong member of the British Methodist Episcopal church where she found strength and community in worship. Her life was a reflection of humility, grace and devotion to God. Though she lived a private life, her love and care reached deeply into the lives of those around her.

Lady Ethlin Depass was a beloved mother of three children: Robert Levy (deceased) (Gladys Levy), Valentine Campbell (Veronica Campbell), Jean Walker (Leaford Walker). 

She was a cherished grandmother of 8, proud greatgrandmother of 17, and beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a host of dear friends whose lives were blessed by her wisdom and presence. Lady Depass legacy is one of faith, love and quiet dignity. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of family and all who knew her.
