Obituary of King Tyrone Minott-Brown
A bright and beautiful soul, King Tyrone Minott passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family after a brave and fearless fight with Group 3 Medulloblastoma, a rare form of brain cancer.
Though his time on earth was short, King lived each day with courage, joy, and a heart full of love. He smiled through the pain, found laughter in the little things, and reminded everyone around him what it meant to be strong.
King was a proud and protective brother, cousin, nephew, friend, and son. He loved playing soccer, practicing tae-kwon-do, and spending time with those he loved. He was also recognized as a Junior Scientist by the University of Toronto, a title he wore with pride and excitement.
He had an energy that lit up any room, a smile that could melt hearts, and a spirit that touched everyone he met. He may have been small in size, but he had the heart of a giant.
King made us better. His dream was for everyone to be kind to each other.
A precious soul like King’s can never be forgotten. He will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He is deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving family, his friends, his extended family, and a community that loved him deeply.
Forever in our hearts.
