Obituary of Marty Burt Bailey

It’s with great sorrow we announce the passing of Marty Bailey.

Marty, a pillar of faith, kindness, and selflessness, went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2025. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

Marty is survived by parents Frederick Bailey and Adassa Jennings. Children: Trevon, Shemika, Destiny, Zakai, Gabrielle Siblings: Elaine, Charm, Marva, Hortense, Oneil, Janet, Megen, Michelle, Tresha, Duvaughn many nieces and nephews.

Marty’s life was a testament to his deep devotion to Christ. He lived each day guided by love, humility, and compassion, always putting others before himself. His big presence was not just in stature but in the warmth and joy he brought to every room.

Family was the cornerstone of Marty’s life. A devoted father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many, he found his greatest joy in nurturing and supporting his loved ones.

Marty’s impact extended far beyond his home. Known for his charitable heart, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His acts of kindness were quiet but powerful, reflecting his belief in helping others as an expression of his faith.

His influence was felt not just in the lives he touched directly, but in the communities he uplifted through his generosity and grace.

Marty’s life was a beacon of faith, love, and laughter.

We celebrate the remarkable legacy he leaves behind, grateful for every moment shared with this extraordinary man. He will be truly missed.
