Obituary of Sylvia Alma Douglas

Sylvia Alma Douglas, age 61, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 3, 2025, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home. Sylvia was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she had a unique gift for bringing joy, laughter, and warmth to every room she entered. Her vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness touched countless lives, and her genuine care for others will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

 

For over 30 years, Sylvia worked as a dedicated Legal Administrative Assistant, where her professionalism and big heart left an impact on her colleagues. She is survived by her children, Brittney and Monique, and her beloved granddaughter, Jasmine. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Ethlyn Douglas, and her brother, Roy Douglas.
