My sincerest condolences to the entire Douglas family. Words cannot express how shocked and saddened I was to hear of Sylvia's passing. We often ran into each other, working downtown King&Bay in the same office building. It was equally exciting everytime, sometimes stopping for a quick chat. Her beautiful smile will never be forgotten. RIP "Alma".

Sadly, I never get to meet my Grand Aunt Sylvia Douglas. But what I heard from my dad Raymond Douglas, Aunty Sylvia always had a smile on her face and was a peaceful woman. I pray for strength for the immediate family. Coming from Raymond Charles Moss Douglas and children.

I’m so sorry for our loss. Our Aunt Sylvia was truly one of a kind—full of life, laughter, and joy that could brighten any room. She had a way of making everyone feel special, of turning ordinary moments into something unforgettable. Her energy, kindness, and love will never be forgotten.
I know this loss is heavy, but I hope we find comfort in the beautiful memories she left behind. She may not be physically here, but her spirit will always live on in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the love she gave so freely.
You will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. – Psalm 16:11
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. – Psalm 34:18
May God wrap us in His peace and give us strength in the days ahead. Sending love and prayers.

One of my fondest memories of Auntie Sylvia was on my first trip to Toronto. Some teenage boys visited the house to one of my cousins and she rebuffed them. Her parting words "but I'm the fun Aunt!" That laugh, that smile, those twinkling eyes have always come to mind at the thought of her. Those markers will continue to be how I'll remember her. Rest now, Auntie Sylvia, your light lives on in the love you've shared with us all.
