Most caring and gentle. That's how I will remember Uncle Clem. His kindness to me was unbelievably generous and I will never forget that.
He is gone to reunite with his big brother Ralph and their Mother.I can only imagine that joyous reunion! Lots of hugs and kisses. Brake will certainly be dancing!

To Yvonne and the rest of family...my condolences.
I am so grateful I had the pleasure of meeting Mr D. He was a nice guy with an amazing personality.
Nothing I can say will take away the pain you're experiencing but I just want you to know that I care about you and I share your sadness.
Just look back and lean on the precious memories you shared and cherish those memories.
He was so thoughtful and kind, he will surely be missed.
May God grant you the strength to go on. You are in my thought and prayers.
Sleep in peace Mr D.

Farewell Uncle!
This is a reflection of my uncle knowing that he would like us to keep smiling after he's gone... through this Poem
He is Gone
You can shed tears
that he is gone.
Or you can smile because he lived.
You can close your eyes and
pray that he will come back.
Or you can open your eyes and
see all that he has left.
Your heart can be empty because
you can’t see him.
Or you can be full of love
that you shared,
You can turn your back on
tomorrow and live for yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow
because of yesterday.
You can remember him and
only that he is gone.
Or you can cherish his
memory and let it live on,
You can cry, close your mind,
be empty, and turn your back.
Or you can do what he would
have wanted, smile, open your
eyes, love, and move on.
Dear Uncle, as we say goodbye, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your love, support, and guidance part of my life. You were more than just an uncle; you were a true friend. And Your laughter, stories, and wisdom were a joy.
You have left your footprints with glory on the sand of time.
Your name will be remembered for a long time, and your story will be told for generations.
I remember when you left the United Kingdom to move to Canada and you wanted me so badly and my family to travel and live in Canada. But unfortunately, that didn't happen. But when I was old enough to travel it was a joy I was coming to come to visit you. and it was my very first ever trip to travel, by myself out of the UK, to you in Canada at age 12.
I remember how much love you showed, and gave me while I was there for my six weeks of summer holiday. I stayed with you and you're family.
There's a phrase that says:
"First impressions are important."
Remember saying to my Uncle Clement,
when I got wiser and older are you the same mother and father as my father...
He would laugh and say Yes, and I would say you sure uncle...
you are surely different from all of them...
And why I say that, is because he was selfless in all that he would do, even with his smile, and passionate love, even when he would come emotional at times with tears, he had a heart of tenderness.
There was a gap between the years that we never spoke. But I never forgot my Uncle Clement and when I finally got back in touch with my Uncle Clement.
We would talk pretty much every other week or I would make sure to ask Robert please call me so I could talk to my uncle. And my cousin Robert would keep his word.
If his phone wasn't working.
And he kept saying to me can you come and see me but at that time, I wasn't able to travel due to health challenges and situations.
In January, we spoke on 8,12 2025.
it was the last time we spoke. Ending our conversation Janet please try and come to see me.
in return in my words, I'll make a great effort to come
And I was planning a surprise for his 90th birthday to visit,
Him in February of 2025.
unfortunately, he did not reach his 90th birthday.
I thank God for the short conversations we would have over the phone or Facetime.. every other week.
And even through these conversations, he was the same uncle that I met at age 12, the funniest things he would say to me when he would see me on FaceTime.
He would always tell me about my weight. If it was up
if it was down.
And I'll say Uncle just be happy that you saw my pretty face and he would laugh and say you're right.
As much as he was passionate, he was also stubborn.
I think it runs through the family on the Davis side,
of course.
But he was fun to always talk to. And when we would say goodbye.
His words to me You promised you are going to come and see me, and I would say yes uncle.
Unfortunately, that time did not come when he departed before I could see him.
But I have no regrets.... because he's at a place of peace, where he's not in any pain, or any agony, and not feeling weary, lonely, and depressed.
I am only left with your memories to live with now. Smiling!
As a Father, as an Uncle, As a grandfather, as a Brother as a Friend..
You may no longer be here with us, but we will never forget you as a winner!!!! Who lived life to the fullest.
No words can express my grief.
Again, I pray that God will bring peace and solace to your family.
May your soul rest in peace. Uncle,
your niece Janet Davis...
